Who we are
LeAF BV is an independent research and consulting organization. We leverage our knowledge, expertise and research facilities to recover and safely reuse water, energy, nutrients and other valuable resources from solid and liquid waste streams. We ensure that remaining (secondary) waste streams are treated and purified to guarantee their safe discharge into the environment. Through these efforts, we contribute to the improvement of our society.
Founded and headquartered at the department of Environmental Technology (ETE) of Wageningen University & Research (WUR), we have access to a wide range of up-to-date knowledge, expertise, and research facilities in the fields of sustainability, (bio-based) technology, circularity and the environment.
Our expertise consists not only of our extensive knowledge, but also our ability to connect and our drive to help you. Where necessary, we collaborate with other organizations within our extensive network. We translate visions or ambitions into practical solutions based on experience. In doing so, we consider the technological, economic, legal, and environmental factors that influence your situation.
